Scottish Area Team Championship played at Blairgowrie on 19th & 20th May 2012.
The following players represented Dumbartonshire Golf Union in the recent 6-man team Championships at Blairgowrie GC.
Richard Docherty (Bearsden), Andrew Campbell (Dumbarton), Steven Maxwell and Kevin Smyth (both Windyhill), Fraser McKenna (Balmore) and Craig Checkley (Vale of Leven).
Despite the major set-back on the Thursday both Paul Gault and Gordon Yates withdew with injury and illness, both Steven and Kevin who stood in at the last minute and performed well. Our total of 741 was just not good enough to make the 'top 4' bur a great improvement on last years performance (Best 5 scores from each Course to count).
