Order of Merit Points Allocation

The Order of Merit is a competition to identify the most successful overall golfer in Dumbartonshire Golf Union. Points are allocated to golfers, based on the table below, and they are added over the year with the winner being the person with the highest number of points on completion of the programme. An up-to-date table will be displayed on the web site after each event.

In addition, all players making the cut in a 72 hole competition will be awarded 20 points, providing they complete rounds 3 & 4, with a further 20 points being allocated to the leading County Player if no County Player finished in the top eight.

To qualify for the Order of Merit players must play in at least two of the events marked by * one of which must be a DGU Event.

The following prize money will be awarded to the first three places: Winner: £100, Runner-up £60, Third Place £40.
