AREA TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

Dumbartonshire’s first round of the 2007 Area Team Championship was played at Windyhill Golf Club against The Borders on Sunday 20th May. In the morning foursomes it was the visitors who took the honours by winning two of the three matches. However, the lunch time team talk obviously had the desired effect resulting in the home team winning four of the six points available in the afternoon singles and thereby securing an overall win by five points to The Border’s 4.
