DUMBARTONSHIRE GOLF UNION
AREA TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

The second round of the 2007 Area Team Championship was played at Piperdam Golf Club on Sunday 5th August against Angus. Dumbartonshire made an excellent start by winning the morning foursomes by 2 games to the home team’s 1. Regrettably, the afternoon singles saw a strong fight back by the Angus players who secured 4 of the six points up for grabs and thereby an overall victory by 5 to Dumbartonshire’s 4.
