MEDAL PLAY CHAMPIONSHIP

A field of sixty-six low handicap golfers took part in the 2007 Medal Play Championship which was played over two rounds at Hayston Golf Club on Sunday 12th August with the following results :-

Medal Play Champion – Gordon Yates (Hilton Park GC) – 76 & 66 = 133
Runner-up – Paul Betty (Hayston GC) – 64 & 70 = 134
Third place – Richard Graham (Hayston GC) – 70 & 68 = 138
– Jim Devaney (Windyhill GC) – 72 & 66 = 138

The CSS was 70 for the morning round and 69 for the afternoon.

The Team Championship was won comfortably by Hayston GC with an aggregate score of 275
with Windyhill GC as runners-up with a score of 283.
