Message From The President
May I take this opportunity of wishing all our members and their clubs a ‘Guid New Year’ and a successful 2010 season.
Welcome to our website which we inaugurated last year and which we hope to improve upon in the coming year. Much feedback was given to us last year concerning the content and the layout of our website and while much of it was very positive we are very aware that there is room for improvement. We hope to deliver a comprehensive service through this medium of what is going on in and around the county. We will continue to update results, publish up to date photographs, and serve up County news which will be interesting and useful to all members. Your views are essential to our planning so please continue to contact the DGU website with your thoughts and ideas.
May I take this opportunity of wishing everyone a great golfing year and assure you of our drive to keep Dumbartonshire, the “Premier County”.

Medal Play Championship 2010
With sunny intervals, a light breeze and on a well presented Course, 60 players, from 15 Clubs, competed over two rounds at Clydebank & District G.C. for the DGU Medal Play Championship and the County Team Championship for 2010.

Matchplay Championship 2010
On Monday evening, the 15 Qualifiers, together with the Defending Champion for 2009, Richard Docherty, Bearsden G.C., teed-off in the first round of the Match Play Championship.
