Welcome to the new and improved Dumbartonshire Golf Union website which heralds a new era in the use of technology by DGU. I am very conscious of the fact that we as a Union have a responsibility of communication, not only to our clubs and their members, but to a wider audience of well informed ‘net surfers’. Through this website DGU will offer everyone clear information, up to date news, photographs, history, a calendar of events, results of competitions and matches, contact links and much more.
We hope this website will also become an interactive tool for our members to let us know their views and what is going on in and around the county. May I take this opportunity of wishing everyone a great golfing year and assure you of our drive to keep Dumbartonshire, the “Premier County”.

Boys Stroke Play Championship 2009
The 2009 Boys Stroke Play Championship will be held on the 2nd & 3rd of July at Milngavie Golf Club.
